Description Nakara pair.Made of hand hammered copper in Turkey.I was told the original Nakara came from the Ottoman empire army:the person on top of the horse had two huge drums,one on either side and played w/lg. sticks to empower soldiers into battleNow, the drums became smaller and played with thin sticks, hopefully for peace... I've seen Nakara or nakari also from Pakistan and India...
